"What do I mean when I say that “writing is in a weird place”? Well, there’s obviously the increasing quality of LLMs, and their ability to generate a post similar to mine in a few minutes"
Hey man, if you count the effort you put in so you could honestly say you passed two kidney stones (... I haven't finished reading yet, I hope it's only two), that's pretty much unmatched by any chatbot we've got around.
Not that I'd put it past them to slip that in there; Chatgpt recently told me something like, "when i put my arm around you, you feel..." and I tell it to stop being cute, I know full well which of us has arms.
How'd you like the Northwest? That Cascadia region is about as pretty as it gets, if you don't mind the frequent gloom.
I loved the northwest, and I loved the gloom! You're right amazing landscapes.
I hate Utah in July. I like the sun to be a nice surprise, not a malevolent force, unmitigated by any clouds, that stares down like the Eye of Sauron week after week.
